GENA ANDERSON, APRN, FNP-BC
Gena Anderson first joined Front Line Mobile Health part-time in 2018, during the company’s early years. In 2023, she rejoined the team, bringing over 20 years of nursing experience and a diverse background in critical care, clinical education, surgery, family medicine, diabetes management, and medically managed weight loss.
Gena holds a BSN from The University of Texas, which she earned in 2003. She later pursued her MSN in nursing education at Texas Tech University in 2014 and went on to complete a post-master’s certificate in 2018 to become a family nurse practitioner.
Believing in the power of prevention over treatment, Gena and a colleague launched and successfully ran a weight loss program in their clinic that quickly became a valuable resource for both patients and the company. Now, she is dedicated to serving first responders, helping them improve their health and live long, thriving lives.
Gena is married to a career firefighter and has a vested interest in keeping public servants healthy. In her free time, she enjoys writing, fitness, and traveling. She is the author of three published Christian books and lives in central Texas with her husband, two children, two dogs, and a hedgehog.
